UPPER DARBY, May 22 – State Rep. Margo Davidson, D-Delaware, will host her fourth annual Veterans Fair on Thursday, June 15, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the East Lansdown Borough Hall, 155 Lexington Ave.
Veterans and their families are invited to attend the fair where they will have the opportunity to learn about the services and benefits they have earned. The event will feature housing, health care, employment, education and much more. Notary services and Pennsylvania Mobile Veterans Outreach Van will be on site as well.
“Helping connect the men and women who have worked, fought and toiled to protect our freedom is one small way we can give back to those who have given so much,” Davidson said. “This annual event is always one of the highlights of the year for me and I look forward to spending time with and assisting local veterans and their families again at this year’s fair.”
The Pennsylvania Mobile Veterans Outreach Van is a service provided by the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs in order to make benefits more accessible to Pennsylvania veterans and their eligible family members. Such benefits might include service-connected disability compensation, improved pensions, death pensions, VA health care benefits, burial benefits, education benefits, vocational rehabilitation and much more.
