Early election results show Donald Trump has a significant lead over Miami’s hometown candidate Marco Rubio in the state of Florida, despite the fact that Rubio can count Miami-Dade County as a victory.

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Early election results show Donald Trump has a significant lead over Miami’s hometown candidate Marco Rubio in the state of Florida, despite the fact that Rubio can count Miami-Dade County as a victory.

With 25% of precincts reporting, Trump leads with 46% of the vote over Marco Rubio’s 27%.

In Miami-Dade County, Rubio has 63% of the vote over Trump’s 22%. Broward Country is going to Trump with 50% of the vote over Rubio’s 28%.

On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton is ahead with 66% of the vote over Bernie Sanders 31%.
